Sometimes, it takes a passerby to change our lives.

Ednei Lima was driving home in a rainstorm when he saw a teenage boy climb over a bridge and jump over.

Despite the heavy rain, Lima stopped his car, and immediately did he same!

The 19-year-old Andrew who wanted to take his life, punched and kicked his rescuer. Still, that didn’t stop Ednei.

Because of his black belt in jujitsu, he managed to fight the boy’s attacks and pull him back to safety.

Ednei, in retrospect, says he didn’t have time to think about what he was doing. All he remembers thinking was that he had to pull the boy out!
