a blog about everyday heroes from around the world
Late last week TVGuide reported that Heroes could be making an early exit to its sophomore season. Why you might ask? Blame the writers strike which was made official this morning. According to TVGuide.com the cast and crew have gone back and make a second ending to the December 3rd episode which would act as the end of the season for the show, making us wait another nine months for the third season. Here is what TVGuide.com had to say:
Heroes‘ second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the forthcoming apocalypse, also known in some circles as the damn writers’ strike.
Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current “Generations” arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.
The ratings for Heroes have been dropping on a weekly basis, and if the writers strike holds true, the second season of Heroes could be coming up a bit short.
One Response for "Heroes Season 2 Finale This December?"
This is rediculous, Heroes is an addiction that needs to be fed! Can’t they just give the writers what they want so the show can go on :/
