Blake Mycosie gained popularity when he almost won the amazing race. Now, he is doing something far bigger than the amazing race.

Blake, after losing the race, decided to go to Argentina. There, he saw that many children went without any shoes. He then thought to start his own shoe company, and for every pair sold, he would donate a pair to a child in need.

Blake named his company TOMS: Shoes for Tomorrow. Currently, he has sold thousands of pairs, allowing for thousands of kids in Argentina to have shoes of their own, as well.

Blake plans to give shoes to kids in Africa and Asia next. His shoes give kids a brighter tomorrow.

Yummy Shrimp Linguini

Want something new to spice up your boring pasta recipe? Why not try to make a simple Shrimp linguini?

This recipe is so simple and so yummy that it should be included in a Cook off!

I’ve used this recipe for years and I haven’t made a bad batch yet! Everyone just loves this! Plus, they all think you slaved away making a complicated seafood dish but the truth it its so simple that you won’t break a sweat!

Want to learn how to make it? I’ll show you!

Here are the ingredients:
2 lbs of shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 lbs of linguini pasta, cooked and drained ( you can even prepare this ahead of time and store it in the freezer)
about 8 tbsps of butter
1 onion chopped finely
1 tbsp of garlic
1 tsp crushed parsley
1 tsp crushed red pepper
grated parmesan cheese
Alfredo sauce
Procedure:

Cook the linguini and drain it. Keep it warm. Melt the butter in a non stick pan. Add the onion and saute for about 2 to 3 minutes. After, add the parsley, garlic and crushed pepper. Stir and then add the shrimp.

In a separate pan, heat the alfredo sauce until warm. When warm, add in the pan with pasta and cook this over a low fire for about 1 to 2 minutes.

Now, you’ll have a great meal to serve!
