This little kid held a 5 month old in his arms, while leading other kids to safety in downtown New Orleans.

This boy really did not think of himself, but put other children first.

Other children who showed acts of heroism in the face of Katrina do so by putting up lemonade stands and donating their earnings to the hurricane’s victims.

Children are so amazing. We really can’t underestimate them!

When Katrina Happened, the Vancouver search and rescue team immediately rushed over New Orleans to help!

Brendan Kellar,in his attempts to rescue Kara Douglas in Australia, was shot. Unfortunately Brendan died.

Brendon was a father of 3, and a loving husband. He was shot in close range at the abdomen. Paramedics couldn’t do anything and he passed away.
